"SAN ANTONIO, TX - An elderly man in his 80s called 911 Saturday morning to report the murder of his wife and son before taking his own life, police said.

"The man told dispatchers that there had been a double murder and there was about to be a suicide, San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said.

"When police arrived at the home in the 200 block of E. Summit in San Antonio's historic Monte Vista neighborhood, they found three people who had been shot to death.

"Further details about the case have not yet been released."
