Attempted Murder/Suicide And SWAT Standoff

"CINCINNATI, OH — A Mariemont man involved in a SWAT standoff on Sunday night is being held on a $1 million bond.

"Police and the Hamilton County SWAT team were called to Grove Avenue for a report of a shooting around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

"Police say that 56-year-old Dennis Reynolds shot and killed his wife, 50-year-old Camille Reynolds, before turning the gun on himself.

"Investigators say he then shot himself in the head and was transported to University Hospital, before being taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center.

"`When I came out, I saw the whole street locked down,` said one neighbor who didn't want to be identified. `I've seen over 50 or 60 cars coming by just to check out the scene. I mean, they are devastated by it, the whole block is talking about it.`

"Investigators are trying to put together what led up to the shootings."
