Police Find Family Of Three Dead

"KALAMAZOO, MI — Police believe a man killed his wife and 17-month-old son before killing himself in their home on Miller Road.

"Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety assistant chief Brian Uridge said Tuesday that police were called to 922 Miller Road around 6 p.m. Monday, July 15 by family members of the 39-year-old woman, who were worried because they had not heard from her.

"Police found the woman, her 42-year-husband, and their 17-month-old son all dead. Police recovered a weapon.

"Uridge said he would not release details, but based on evidence at the scene it appears that the husband killed both his wife and child before taking his own life.

"Autopsies are being conducted today and Wednesday, he said."
