Suspected Slasher Found Dead In Basketball Court
"BALTIMORE, MD — Baltimore City Police believe a 19-year-old man shot and killed himself after killing a 16-year-old girl.
"Police Sgt. Eric Kowalzczyk told reporters late Friday that investigators believe Shaquille Anthony slashed the throat of 16-year-old Diamond Williams.
"He then went to a basketball court in Northeast Baltimore where he shot himself to death.
"Williams was discovered behind a beauty salon in the 3300 block of Liberty Heights Avenue at around 1 a.m. today.
"She was taken to Sinai Hospital where she later died.
"Kowalczyk said police received the call about Anthony's death about 15 minutes later.
"Kowalzcyk added that Williams and Anthony knew each other, but he could not describe the nature of their relationship."

How sad is this for the victim whose throat was slashed and for both families. What would make a 19 year old commit such a crime?
