Police Suspect Murder/Suicide In Apartment Shooting

"WIXOM, MI — Police in suburban Detroit say the deaths of a man and woman at an apartment were the result of a murder/suicide.

"Wixom police say in a statement Friday afternoon that investigators have examined information from the apartment and spoken with medical examiners. The bodies were found a day earlier at the Stone Ridge apartment complex in the Oakland County community.

"Authorities say they are not searching for any suspects.

"Police say they are working to identify the bodies. Names won’t be released until positive identifications are made and family members notified.

"A gun found at the scene has been sent to a laboratory for analysis."
