Two Dead In "Perfect Neighborhood"

"BUFFALO, NY — Two people were found dead this morning inside a home on 107 Dawnbrook Lane in Amherst and police are investigating the deaths as an “apparent murder-suicide.”

"The names of the individuals were being witheld pending notification of next of kin.

"No other details were immediately available.

"Deborah Lewis, who lives across the street from the home on Dawnbrook, said her husband was stunned to find their street `swarmed` with police cars when they woke up this morning.

"They later saw two gurneys carried out of the home and placed in an unmarked van.

"Lewis said it was `extremely` rare to find police activity on their quiet, tree-lined neighborhood off North Forest Road.

"`It's a perfect neighborhood,` she said. `It's a quiet, idyllic suburban neighborhood.`"
