EMS Crew Finds Bodies Of Couple

"WENDELL, NC — The Johnston County Sheriff's Office said murder/suicide was the cause of death for a Wendell couple found dead Friday afternoon.

"It happened at a home in the 100 block of Deer Tracks Drive.

"The dead have been identified as 55-year-old Gerald Harris, and 52-year-old Pamela Howard.

"The sheriff's office would not say who fired the first shot.

"EMS was called to the home Friday around 3:30 p.m. and discovered the bodies.

"Neighbors said a couple lived at the home, and the female was only able to get around using a wheelchair."
