"PORT ST LUCIE, FL — Police investigating suspected murder/suicide at the St. James Golf Club community in St. Lucie West.
"According to a police spokesperson, officers got a phone call from a concerned relative to do a welfare check at 814 NW Greenwich Court at 5 p.m. today.
"When officers arrived, an unidentified male met them at the front door and invited them in.
"Police say after entering the home, the male grabbed a handgun and shot himself in the head.
"A second deceased body was found in the garage of the home, according to police.
"At this time detectives are ruling it a murder/suicide.
"Detectives are currently on scene and are awaiting a search warrant to continue their investigation."
