"COLUMBUS, NJ - An elderly man fatally shot his wife, then killed himself with the same gun, authorities said Thursday."George and Lillian Megelsh were both 79 and 'experiencing health problems,' said the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office. Their bodies were found Thursday morning in their home on Covered Bridge Circle.
"A suicide note was found, but its contents were not disclosed."

I worked with this man many years ago in the Philadelphia Police Department. A great guy but I guess taking care of a sickly wife got to be too much for him. I think it was a suicide pact. May they both rest in peace.
