Two Dead at U-Store-It

"TUCSON, AZ - A man and woman are dead in an apparent murder-suicide that occurred Monday afternoon at an Southeast Side storage facility.

"Tucson police said the woman, 23, was at the U-Store-It facility in the 2800 block of South Pantano Road, taking out belongings from a storage unit.

"She was at the business with her young daughter and the child’s father.

"At some point the woman’s ex-boyfriend arrived at the storage facility and began arguing with the woman.

"The man took his daughter to the office to call 911 as the argument between the woman and her ex-boyfriend escalated, police said.

"While the two were in the office calling 911, the man shot his ex-girlfriend, then himself, police said. They were dead at the scene.

"The woman’s daughter and her father were not injured."
