Textbook Murder-Suicide in Illinois

"LaSalle, IL - The LaSalle Police Department is investigating what appears to be a murder-suicide.

"Officers responded to a call Tuesday afternoon in the 200 block of Bucklin Street in LaSalle where they found a man and a woman dead in an apartment. An infant was also found in the apartment, unharmed. She has since been turned over to the Department of Children and Family Services.

"The identities of both victims are being withheld until their families are notified. Autopsies are scheduled for Wednesday. The LaSalle county coroner's office and Illinois State Police are investigating."
