Controlled Flight into Death
Testimony at inquest leans toward murder-suicide
"Richard Adams testified that the passenger Jim Powers had been upset recently over a failing marriage and was suffering from cancer. He said that on the day of the crash he was despondent yet anxious and set on going up in the plane.
"After the crash, the witness testified that he went to Powers house and found insurance papers and wills with instructions laid out and he believed Powers never planned on returning from that flight."
