One Dead, One Under Guard At Hospital

"NEW HAVEN, CT — New Haven police are investigating an attempted murder-suicide at a home on Auburn Street Monday night.

"Officers were called to a multi-family home at 113 Auburn Street around 8:30pm. Upon arrival, they found one woman dead, and a man critically injured.

"The male victim was taken to a local hospital. He is in critical condition with life threatening injuries. He is under guard by the New Haven Police.

"No further information has been released."
