SWAT Team Arrives In Time To Hear Shots Fired
"PORTLAND, OR — Two people were found dead early Friday morning in a Sandy Boulevard apartment after neighbors reported hearing gunshots.
"Portland police said officers responded at about 3:18 a.m. to the apartment in the 15800 block of Northeast Sandy Boulevard. The officers took up positions outside the building and heard what they thought were additional gunshots inside the apartment. The Special Emergency Reaction Team and with hostage negotiators responded, and at just before 5 a.m., went into the apartment, where they found the bodies of a man and a woman.
"Detectives investigating the shooting do not believe that any suspects are at large.
"Names of the two people have not been released."
