Shooter Found Dead In Pickup Truck

"PONCA CITY, OK — Ponca City police are investigating what they say appears to have been a murder-suicide.

"No names have been released yet, but officers confirmed that a 23-year-old woman was found wounded Friday morning at a residence in the 700 block of North Pine Street. She was transported to Ponca City Medical Center and then on to OU Medical Center, where she died at about 12:02 p.m.

"A 20-year-old man was found shot inside his pickup truck, parked at the home of his in-laws, according to police. Authorities said the man had killed himself near a residence in the 200 block of Lake Street.

"Notifications of family members are still pending."
