Ex-Boyfriend Unrestrained By Restraining Order

"TUCSON, AZ — Authorities say a Tucson woman has been fatally shot and a man remains in critical condition in an apparent domestic-violence incident.

"Tucson police received a 911 call about 9 a.m. Monday about a woman whose ex-boyfriend showed up at her home despite having a restraining order against him.

"Officers arrived at the home on South Kolb Road nine minutes later and found signs of forced entry.

"They found the woman inside the home dead from a gunshot wound and a man with a life-threatening gunshot wound that appeared to be self-inflicted.

"Police believe the man broke into the home, shot the woman then turned the gun on himself.

"They say the woman has been identified as 31-year-old Claudia Pascual while the man's name hasn't been released."
