Investigation Reveals Possible Murder/Suicide

"MARGATE, FL — Police are investigating the deaths of two people found in a home in Margate.

"Just before 5 p.m. Monday, officers arrived at 6800 Southwest 3rd Street, in response to a shooting, police said.

"They discovered the bodies of Joseph Brown, 42, and Maxine Brown, 44. Their relationship was not immediately determined, detectives said.

"The initial investigation revealed this may be a domestic related murder-suicide. The exact cause of the shooting is still under investigation, police said."
