One Dead, One Hurt In Botched Murder/Suicide

"MILWAUKIE, OR — Homicide detectives with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office are investigating an attempted possible murder-suicide, officials say.

"Deputies were called to a mobile home at 4400 Southeast Roethe Road around 6 p.m. Sunday.

"When they arrived, they found one person dead from a gunshot wound, Sgt. James Rhodes says.

"A second individual was also found suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital with a gunshot wound, Rhodes says.

"The shooting happened inside the trailer home, officials say.

"Detectives were waiting for a search warrant to enter the trailer home, Rhodes says.

"Deputies have not said released the age or sex of the people involved.

"A sign outside the trailer home is for adults 55 years and older."
