Bodies Found When Police Come To Investigate

"GUN PLAIN TOWNSHIP, MI — Allegan County deputies say they found a man and a woman dead inside a home in Gun Plain Township Tuesday after what appears to be a murder/suicide.

"23-year-old Caussandra Pell and 24-year-old Robert Burnam-Pratt were found with gunshot wounds in a home they share on 10th Street just north of downtown Plainwell.

"All night police have been inside a house and talking to some of the neighbors who witnessed what led up to this.

"Deputies went there just after midnight after receiving a call that a man and woman who lived there could be heard fighting.

"When they arrived they found the couple already dead inside. They both were shot to death, a shotgun was near the bodies.

"Investigators say Burnham-Pratt likely shot Pell and then turned the gun on himself."
