Separation Leads To Murder/Suicide
"Clinton, OK - Police in the western Oklahoma town of Clinton say a man and woman are dead after an apparent murder-suicide.
"Dead are 28-year-old Robbie Hawthorn and 26-year-old Joy Payne.
"Police Chief David Crabtree says witnesses have told investigators Hawthorn shot Payne then himself Monday morning.
"Crabtree says the two had been living together but were separating and the separation may have been the reason for the shooting."

he couldnt live with the fact she was moving on he killed her and left there 4 children without a mom or dad he was selfish....joy was a good person she didnt deserve what she got...robbie has always been a lil crazy he wasnt very stable ever...i never knew what she saw in him
ReplyDeleteHe wasn't selfish...Not at all. He loved her. But Joy...She cheated. He couldn't stand the fact to see her go...I agree, if he loved her...He should have let her go. He did have anger issues. But it wasn't all his fault.
ReplyDeleteI heard the gun fire that morning and was probably 4 blocks south of where the shooting took place. I heard 3 shots all together but was told he fired 3 shots at her one being the fatal shot that killed her and then he took his own life with 1 shot from the same weapon. I remember hearing 2 shots going off close together then a short pause and then a final shot.
