15 Year Old Girl Comes Home To Bodies In Trailer

"DULAC, LA — A 40-year-old Dulac man shot and killed his girlfriend Thursday before killing himself, authorities said.

"The bodies of Bryan Scott, 40, and Shannon Ann Vitrano, 39, were found at the trailer they shared at 4428 Grand Caillou Road, said Maj. Malcolm Wolfe, a Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office spokesman. The call came in about 2:40 p.m., he said.

"Vitrano's 15-year-old daughter came home from school Thursday to find her mother and Scott lying dead on the kitchen floor, authorities said.

"`She came home and entered the house and found them,` Wolfe said of the girl, whom he did not identify.

"Police believe Scott killed Vitrano before shooting himself. A 12-gauge shotgun recovered at the scene is believed to have been used in the murder-suicide.

"Deputies were told by Vitrano's relatives that she talked about leaving him today, Wolfe said.

"Scott was arrested in February after his car was pulled over by Lafourche drug agents, who said there was $1,300 worth of marijuana in the vehicle."
