Death Of Elderly Couple Ruled Murder/Suicide

"MARINA DEL RAY, CA - The shooting deaths of an elderly couple in Marina del Rey last week have been determined to be a murder-suicide, authorities said Monday.

"Harry Antler, 81, committed suicide after shooting Mary Jane Sternal, 90, at their apartment in the 14000 block of Palawan Way, sheriff's detectives said.

"Their bodies were discovered Thursday afternoon.

"The couple left two notes for their family members, deputies said. The contents were not released."
