Two Deceased Adults Found At Residence

"CHARLESTOWN, NH – State and local police have been at the scene of an apparent murder-suicide since early Thursday morning.

"According to Attorney General Michael A. Delaney, a 911 call was received about 4:47 a.m. When police arrived at the single-family home, they found two deceased adults in the residence.

"`Although the investigation is still in the early stages, the evidence gathered to date indicates that the deaths are likely the result of a murder-suicide, domestic violence incident,` Delaney said in a statement.

"The identity of the individuals has been withheld by authorities pending notification of next of kin. Autopsies will be performed on both Friday to determine cause of death.

"Charlestown, population about 4,800, is located northwest of Keene on the eastern shore of the Connecticut River."
