Texas Pair Survives Botched Murder/Suicide

"STAFFORD, TX - A man shot his wife before he decided to shoot himself in what Stafford police are calling a `domestic attempted murder-suicide.`

"Officers arrived at approximately 8 a.m. Tuesday to a home on Childers Court near Leisure Lane.

"The woman was taken by Life Flight medical helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital - Texas Medical Center in critical condition. The shooting suspect was taken to a hospital in unknown condition."
