No Motive In Botched West Virginia Murder/Suicide

"MANILA, WV - One person killed and another was wounded in a possible murder-suicide attempt in Boone County.

"According to authorities, the shooting happened just after 2 p.m. at a home on Hubert Hill Road near Manila.

"Police said Nathan Porter shot his wife and then turned the gun on himself.

"Apparently, Porter died at the scene but his wife was wounded.

"She has been taken to the hospital, but ... the extent of her injuries [is unknown].

"Police are now looking for a motive in the shooting."
