"LAS CRUCES, NM - A 45-year-old woman is in the hospital and her live-in boyfriend, 26, is dead after being found hanged in what is being investigated as a suicide, according to Dona Ana County Sheriff's Office officials."Shortly after 8:30 p.m. Thursday, DASO deputies responded to the 19000 block of South Highway 28, to reports of a possible domestic incident.
"The victim reported that her live-in boyfriend had stabbed her once in the face, according to investigators. When deputies arrived, they found the boyfriend dead, apparently by hanging, in the back of the home.
"The woman is being treated for her injuries in a Las Cruces hospital. The incident is being investigated as a domestic violence / suicide case."
