3 Dead, Shooter Critical In Love Triangle Meltdown
"DESOTO, TX — Three people are dead after a shooting at a DeSoto home Friday afternoon.
"A man shot his ex-girlfriend, her father and her new boyfriend at a home on 1040 Oak Meadow Lane before turning the gun on himself, according to the DeSoto Police Department.
"DeSoto police identified the victims as Autumn Carey, her father Gerald Malone, and her boyfriend Adrian Jessie.
"Police said Carey's ex-boyfriend, Alonzo Henderson of Okmulgee, Okla., drove down to DeSoto with a .380 caliber handgun. Police did find his car but it wasn't parked in front of the victims' home.
"Henderson attempted to kill himself but didn't, he is in critical condition at a local hospital, according to police. Police said if he survives he will face capital murder charges.
"Rod Pearson said the girl's mother knocked hysterically on his door and said `he kicked the door in and he shot him.` Pearson said he asked her about her husband and she answered, `he shot him also.`
"Carey's mother and two children under the age of 18 were in the house at the time of the shooting but were not injured."
