Pair Found Dead After Argument

"ANCHORAGE, AK — Yesterday afternoon, a man, concerned that he had not heard from his friends in three or four days, took it upon himself to check on them. He entered their house on Bona Kim Loop, through the garage. He was confronted with the aftermath of extreme and unexplained violence. The Anchorage Police Department was called.

"When the police arrived, they observed a man suspended, hanging by the neck, with the body of a woman nearby. The police stated that blood was found at the scene, but were yet unsure of the details of the woman's death.

"According to Sgt. Michael Kerle, the man, who was approximately 40-41 years old, and the woman who was approximately 34, had been deceased for about a day. Although their names have not been released, Kerle stated that the last names of the victims were not the same.

"The two had only recently moved into the neighborhood. A neighbor reported that an argument was overheard on November 25th. Kyle Therrien, a neighbor, reported that the two, new to the area, kept to themselves.

"Anita Shell, a spokeswoman for the police department, stated that in was unknown if the man who reported the incident to the police was related to the deceased. She stated that the investigation had slowed because of a language barrier. A Korean translator is to be used in the investigation."
