  1. Natalie and her mother, father, and sister were long-time friends of my family. Natalie was always a ray of sunshine. When I went to look for more information online, I was shocked at the sheer number of other stories of murder-suicide. I know domestic violence is a problem in this country, but I wasn't prepared to have to sift through the other reports of spousal homicide and murder-suicide that have happened in just the past couple of weeks. If nothing else, I hope other women will get the notion that if a man seems violent and/or controlling, he will not change and will likely get worse. It is literally a matter of life and death that women in these situations cannot afford to ignore. I can only pray for Natalie's family right now... that they can eventually find healing in the aftermath of this senseless and terrible tragedy. I especially pray for her children... who are now left with no mother and no father.
