Welfare Check Finds Two Dead

"CAMDEN, SC — Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews says deputies are investigating an apparent murder-suicide, after finding two people dead inside a home at 947 Wateree Boulevard.

"Sheriff Matthews says a deputy found a man and woman dead inside, during a welfare check. At this point, Matthews says it appears the man shot the woman, then himself.

"Investigators are currently on the scene. Authorities have not released any identities."
