Police Find Bodies Of Couple
"COLUMBUS, GA — Columbus police discovered on Saturday what they’re calling a murder-suicide after they responded to a St. Marys Road apartment.
"Ruby Grant, 21, and Freddie Grant, 27, were found fatally shot inside a Huckleberry Hill Apartment, 4570 St. Marys Road, about 7 p.m. Initially responding to the home about a young child being outside by himself, officers found the bodies when they stepped inside the pair’s apartment, authorities said.
"`When they got there is when they found the victim,` Sgt. Matt Blackstock said. `When they investigated, they found the other victim.`
"Blackstock said Freddie Grant shot Ruby Grant.
"Coroner Bill Thrower, who hasn’t yet released the names of the deceased, said both Grants were in the Army.
"Police declined to release further details."

No one has the right to take anothers life! Ruby you were robbed of a beautiful life. May you rest in peace. We will all meet again some day. I enjoyed having you in my life for the brief time we knew eachother. You were a blessing to many people.
