"ROBINSON, TX — The deaths of a married Robinson couple whose bodies were found in a vehicle Monday have been ruled a case of murder/suicide.
"A medical examiner from the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences said in a report dated Tuesday that 48-year-old Nancy Ann Price died of gunshot wounds and classified her death as a homicide. Her husband, 48-year-old Stancel Howard Price Jr., died of gunshot wounds to the head in what was determined to be a suicide, another medical examiner from the Dallas office found.
"Police were dispatched to Old Robinson Road and Loop 340 at 6:38 p.m. Monday on a report of a man bleeding in a vehicle, according to a press release from the Robinson Police Department. Officers found the couple’s bodies in a white 2010 Chevrolet pickup.
"Nancy Price was a math teacher at University High School. She had taught at the district since August 1998 and was a former soccer coach.
"Officials confirmed Nancy Price and Stancel Price were married.
"Robinson police declined comment Wednesday except to say the investigation into the case is ongoing."
