Family Visitor Finds Mother And Brother Dead

"SARASOTA, FL — A man visiting his family walked in on a horrific scene Monday afternoon after he found his elderly mother and his brother both dead in their garage.

"Investigators say Neil Nichelson was visiting them at their home in the 3300 block of Bougainvillea Street from out of state when he came across their bodies.

"Neil's 55-year-old brother, Murry, and his 90-year-old mother, Adele, both died from gunshot wounds to the head, according to Sarasota Sheriff's investigators.

"Two guns were recovered from the scene and collected as evidence.

"Police say it appears to have been a murder/suicide."
