Police Find Bodies In Apartment

"FRENCH ISLAND, WI — Town of Campbell Police and the La Crosse County Sheriff's Department are investigating what's believed to be a murder/suicide in an apartment building Tuesday morning.

"Authorities were called to 236 Tellin Court Tuesday morning at around 10:45 a.m. Police [said] that neighbors heard a bang around that time. When officers arrived on the scene, they found two adults dead in an apartment in the building.

"Officers and investigators remain on the scene as of this afternoon.

"More details have not been released by either Campbell police or the county. That includes the names of the people found in the apartment. Their names won't be released until family is notified.

"An autopsy is planned for both individuals."
