Couple Found In Basement

"POTTSVILLE, PA - An eastern Pennsylvania man and his wife are dead in a domestic shooting.

"Pottsville police say they were called to the couple's home by the wife just before 8:45 a.m. Sunday.

"They found Amybeth Williams and her husband, Jeffrey, in the basement with gunshot wounds.

"Jeffrey Williams died at the scene from what police say was a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Amybeth Williams was flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital where she later died.

"Police say the husband and wife were the only people involved in the shooting. Their two children were not home at the time."
