"Very Good Friends" DEAD In Michigan

"MONROE, MI - An investigation is underway after two bodies were found at a Monroe Apartment Complex Thursday.

"A 53-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman were found dead in the Park West Club Apartments at Telegraph and Stewart, police [said].

"Investigators said both victims had what appeared to be knife wounds and they believe the pair died sometime Wednesday.

"The two were found in the man’s apartment by his relative.

"Neighbors [said] the two were good friends and had been seen together at the complex.

"`I saw the ambulances pull up and I knew right away something was wrong. Because I see them both everyday, and talk to them twice a day,` says friend and neighbor Amy Lyn Denby.

"Denby said the two were friends, though the man may have thought much more of the relationship. `He was so in love with her and he just got her a friendship ring... they were very good friends,` said Denby.

"The woman moved into Park West Club Apartments a few months ago.

"She’s survived by a 17-year-old son.

"Both victims’ names have not been released."
