Wife Stable, Husband DEAD after Financial Argument
"Solon, OH - A man has allegedly shot his wife, then killed himself in their home on Sedge Circle here, Solon police said in a statement late Sunday afternoon.
"Police say Albert Johnson, 58, apparently shot Valiet Johnson, 49, following an argument over finances.
"The bullet struck her in the head, then Johnson shot and killed himself.
"The wife was taken to Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights by the rescue squad where she is listed in stable condition. She was able to talk to police when they arrived.
"Police received a call at 1:03 p.m. Sunday from the wife, saying her husband had just shot her.
"When police searched the home, they found Albert Johnson dead, apparently from a self-inflicted gun wound to the head, police said in a statement.
"His body is now at the Cuyahoga County Coroner's Office.
"The coroner's office and the Solon police detective bureau are continuing their investigation. The couple's relatives have been notified."

This is so tragic! My daughter is very good friends with their only son Albert. I know he just lost his grandmother around Thanksgiving, and now this. My heart goes out to this family. This is a snapshot of how our economy has affected so many everyday people and families. God Bless!
