Foreclosure May Be Related To Fire & Murder/Suicide


"PATASKALA, OH — Police released new information Wednesday about a suspicious fire and an apparent murder-suicide.

"Firefighters responded to a fire at a home on Amber Road at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday...

"Investigators said the fire seemed to be concentrated in three different areas of the house, and they noticed signs of an accelerant.

"The owner of the home, Jeffrey McKnight, was not home at the time of the fire...

"Officers went to a home on Summit Road to locate McKnight, 53. When they arrived, officers found the bodies of Jeffrey McKnight and Charles McKnight.

"Police said one of the victims was shot and the other victim was stabbed. The victims' bodies were taken to the Licking County Coroner's office for autopsies.

"Investigators said the home on Amber Road may have been in foreclosure."

  1. hmmm. Multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest, two murder weapons, a 57 year old killing his 94 year old father and then burning down a house that had been sold 2 months prior and unoccupied for several monthe prior to that. Give me a BREAK. I say call in the feds.
