Epic FAIL In Scranton

"SCRANTON, PA — A man was jailed Friday after an alleged murder-suicide plot failed, police said.

"William Krause, 48, of 5 Gordon Place, lured his estranged wife to his residence on Thursday around 2 p.m., where he planned to shoot his wife, Marie Krause, then turn the gun on himself, police said.

"The plan failed when Mr. Krause’s semi-automatic handgun, pressed to his wife’s chin, did not fire.

"Mr. Krause also punched his wife in the face and knocked out her teeth with the gun, police said. One of the couple’s sons arrived and defused the situation.

"Mr. Krause faces charges of attempted first-degree murder, attempted sexual assault, endangerment, making terroristic threats and other offenses."
