Two Dead, One "Unknown" In Georgia
"MACON, GA - A Macon man and his wife were pronounced dead today afternoon after a shooting at their home on Walnut Street.
"Henry Weston and his wife, Judy, were found dead shortly before 2 p.m. when authorities responded to their residence to investigate reports of gunshots.
"`They both died of gunshot wounds, and both of their bodies are being sent to Jackson for full autopsies,` said Noxubee County Coroner R.L. Calhoun. `That's about all I can say about it right now, since the autopsies are pending and the investigation is ongoing.`
"The couple's son, Henry Weston Jr., also had been shot. He was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle to be treated for a pair of gunshot wounds. As of 6:45 p.m., he remained in the hospital in an unknown condition.
"`All I can say right now is that there are two deceased and one injured,` said Macon Police Chief Petey Freshour. `The case remains under investigation.`"
