Drug Bust Reveals Murder/Suicide

"ST. LOUIS, MO — Police are investigating after a drug investigation leads to the discovery of a murder-suicide.

"Authorities said around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, undercover officers were conducting a drug investigation when they observed six subjects allegedly selling drugs in the 4700 block of Newberry Terrace.

"As the officers approached the six to arrest them, the suspects ran into an apartment building.

"Police followed and found an open apartment door, thinking the suspects had gone into the apartment.

"The police went in and found the bodies of a male and female.

"Police said the victims are of an apparent murder-suicide.

"The six subjects had in the meantime broken into another apartment.

"Police found and arrested all six and called for homicide for the two bodies."
