Four Shots, Two Dead

"MESA, AZ – Two people were found dead in the east Valley.

"It happened at 86th Street near University on Monday just before 8 p.m. It is a county island in Mesa. That is where sheriff’s deputies say two men were found shot to death inside a home.

"Neighbors [said] it happened they heard a series of three shots before seeing a woman and two children come running out of the home screaming for help. They wanted someone to call police.

"The woman reportedly kept saying someone inside the home had been shot. Moments later, neighbors reported, hearing a fourth shot before police arrived.

"Deputies say they found two men inside the home shot to death. MCSO investigators are investigating this as a murder-suicide."
