Welfare Check Finds Three DEAD
"Shreveport, LA - A man, a woman and a child were found shot to death this morning in a house in southwest Shreveport.
"Evidence in the house points to a double murder-suicide, Caddo Coroner Dr. Todd Thoma said.
"A gun found in the house had been fired three times, Thoma said.
"Neighbors identified the dead as Billy Hardy; his wife, Jolynn; and their 3-year-old son, Bryce.
"Police Department spokesman Cpl. Bill Goodin said authorities at this time are not looking for a suspect in the case.
"Goodin added that no suicide note was found and detectives had not ruled out the possibility of a triple murder.
"The house is located in the 8900 block of Brandon Drive in a neighborhood near Southwood High School.
"The bodies were found just before 9 a.m. by a police officer. The officer had been dispatched to the house on a welfare-concern call after one of those at the house did not show up for work, Goodin said.
"Goodin said each person was found in a different part of the house."
