Might As Well Jump
"BROOKLYN, NY — A man jumped to his death from his Williamsburg apartment building after a woman was found dead in his bathtub on Tuesday night, police said.
"Officers responded to a 911 call of an unconscious female bleeding inside 325 Roebling Street around 8 p.m.
"Witnesses said the man ran from the apartment toward the roof.
"The officers followed the man and watched him jump, police said.
"Efriam Gabourel, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The woman, who also lived in the building, has been identified as 29-year-old Liliana Belfor.
"The investigation is ongoing."

This is not true! They were no longer dating. She did a "Thin Line Between Love and Hate" kind of thing and beat herself up or had someone beat her up and then blamed him and had him arrested in the months prior to this.
ReplyDeleteHe was trying to stay away from her and have her leave him alone. She wouldn't. I would not have put it past her to have attempted to kill herself in front of him. She even told me and other people that if she can't have him, nobody will. And she also said she'd rather die than them not be together.
So I don't trust the media about this nor the cops version (who chased him up to the rooftop that he conveniently fell off of). This is just how they chose to open and close the case saying that it was a murder suicide. It was far more complex.
Additionally, your title is incredibly insensitive. Anyone that knew him knew that he would have not killed himself. SMH.
