"BUFFALO, NY - An elderly couple is found dead in their Buffalo home. Police are still gathering information. They are treating this case as a suspicious homicide. "The elderly couple's nephew found the bodies Thursday night according to police.
"Investigators said after the couple didn't answer the door, the nephew looked in a window and saw something wasn't right. He then called 911.
"Buffalo Police Spokesperson Mike DeGeorge said, `It appears the two of them suffered gunshot wounds. Right now, homicide detectives labeling their deaths as suspicious.`
"There was no sign of forced entry on the home. However, police will not comment on claims the husband made threats towards his wife in the past, or whether this may have been a murder suicide.
"`Right now detectives want to wait to do more investigating work. Certainly until the autopsy is complete the department will leave it as suspicious,` said DeGeorge."
