"Brooklyn, CT — Two people were found dead in a Brooklyn home Wednesday morning. The state police Major Crime Detectives said an initial examination appears to reveal no `apparent criminal aspect to this incident.`"At around 11:27 a.m. State Police in Danielson received a request for a well-being check of the occupants of a home located at 98 Laurel Hill Road in Brooklyn.
"Upon arrival and entry into the home troopers discovered two dead people inside the home. The residence was secured and the State Police Major Crime Squad Detectives responded to the scene to initiate an investigation.
"Police are still at the scene. Autopsies will be conducted by the Office of the chief States Medical Examiner to determine the manner and cause of death.
"The identities of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin."

It has been determined that this was a double suicide, not a murder suicide. Please show some respect for the families of the deceased individuals.
