"NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX — Three people are dead and a fourth person was injured in a shooting late Tuesday night.

"WFAA-TV reported that the shooting appeared to be a murder-suicide, but police this morning would not confirm that statement and said the Tarrant County medical examiner's office was still investigating.

"North Richland Hills police investigator Keith Bauman said officers responded to the shooting about 10:20 p.m. after a report of shots being fired in the 6500 block of Sunset Road.

"Officers arrived and found an open garage door and three people inside the garage with gunshot wounds. The suspected shooter was found dead inside the home, Bauman said.

"Two of the victims were transported to an area hospital and one was later pronounced dead, he said. The medical examiner's office identified the woman as 55-year-old Kristin Jones. The two other victims were men, the medical examiner's office told WFAA-TV.

"The television station reported that the other patient, a woman, was listed in critical condition at John Peter Smith Hospital. Bauman said he could not confirm that information.

"North Richland Hills police also did not comment this morning on the relationship among the victims."
