Another Bad Ex-Boyfriend

"BENTON HARBOR, MI — Benton Harbor police say a man fatally shot his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend before killing himself.

"Police say 49-year-old Scott Kerlikowski of Stevensville shot 45-year-old Timothy Morris of Benton Harbor Monday night at his girlfriend's house.

"... police responded to the scene about 11:30 p.m., set up a perimeter around the home about 70 miles southwest of Grand Rapids, then reported hearing a single gunshot.

"Police entered the home and found Kerlikowski's body lying in the front room with a gunshot wound to the head. A semiautomatic handgun was next to him.

"Police did not say whether Morris' girlfriend was home at the time of the shootings. No further details were released."
