"Nobody Heard Anything"
"AUSTIN, TX - The identities of a man and woman involved in an apparent murder-suicide early Friday evening in Cedar Park were released on Saturday.
"On Friday night, crime tape surrounded part of the Arboleda Apartment Complex. Officers forced their way into an apartment after the father of the woman who lived inside called police. He wanted them to check on the welfare of his daughter when he couldn't get in touch with her.
"Capt. Mike Harmon with Cedar Park Police said, `Once inside, they did discover two subjects, one white female, one white male... fatally shot inside the apartment.`
"According to preliminary reports, the couple, 21-year-old Amanda Simmons and 22-year-old Christopher Bowling, were victims of an apparent murder-suicide. We're told they were in a relationship and they lived off and on together in the apartment. Police are still gathering evidence through witnesses, but it's a tough task.
"`Nobody heard anything, heard any arguing, or anything out of the ordinary,` Harmon said."
