Couple Had History Of "Squabbles"

"DANVILLE, KY - Danville police were investigating Sunday the apparent murder-suicide of a well-known Danville hairdresser and her husband.

"Police were called to the 400 block of South Fourth Street in Danville after a family member discovered the bodies of Sharon Douglas, 49, and her husband, Thomas Douglas, 49, shortly before 6 p.m. Sunday.

"Boyle County Coroner James Ramey said Thomas Douglas was found with a .38-caliber pistol in his hand, and police suspect that Thomas Douglas shot his wife and then himself.

"Sharon Douglas ran The Hair Studio on South Fourth Street in Danville.

"Ramey said the couple had a history of domestic squabbles.

"`There had been some domestic disagreements for some time,` Ramey said."
